Data source and attribution policy

Where our data comes from and how we attribute it.

Last updated Aug 14, 2026

Permitted sources

A listing may only appear on LeaseACondo through:

  1. Direct submission by an authorised owner, agent or property manager
  2. Authorised CSV or XML/JSON import by a party entitled to supply the data
  3. A licensed brokerage feed
  4. A properly licensed ListHub, MLS, IDX or RESO integration
  5. A licensed third-party property API whose terms expressly permit public commercial display

What we do not do

We do not scrape, copy or reproduce listings, images, descriptions or contact details from other marketplaces. We do not invent listings, agents, reviews, statistics or availability.

Provenance

Every imported listing retains its source type, source identifier, original provider, rights status, import date, last source update, last verified date, attribution requirements and removal requirements.

Demo content

Any demonstration content is explicitly marked as demo, excluded from sitemaps, and served with a noindex directive.

Current integration status

Adapters for RentCast, ListHub, MLS/IDX/RESO and agency feeds exist in the platform but are disabled. Each will remain disabled until the relevant contract, credentials and a licence review confirming permission for this exact public marketplace use case are in place.
