How verification works
What "verified" means on LeaseACondo, precisely.
Last updated Aug 14, 2026
Three separate things get verified
1. Listing availability
The person responsible for a listing confirms it is still available and the details are current. The date of that confirmation is shown on the listing as Last verified. Listings that are not re-verified before they expire move to Needs re-verification and stop appearing in search.
2. The person or company
- Verified owner — the submitter has provided evidence of ownership or written authorisation, reviewed by our team.
- Verified agent — a licence number and jurisdiction have been supplied and checked against the relevant public register.
- Verified agency — company and licence details supplied and checked.
Verification documents are stored privately and are never shown publicly.
3. Building rules
Building rental rules are published only with a recorded source and a last-reviewed date. Anything else displays as Not yet verified.
What verification is not
Verification is not a guarantee, an inspection, or an endorsement. Always confirm availability, cost and rules directly before signing or paying anything.
LeaseACondo never takes deposits
We do not collect deposits, rent or application fees. Anyone claiming to do so on our behalf is committing fraud.
